HORSE RACING

Introduction:

Horse racing is a sport of an equestrian, which is practiced over the centuries. Horse racing involves riding of the horse through well trained professional jockeys. The jockeys are trained to take care of the horse and train them well enough to race in the Racecourse. In horse racing, sports’ gambling plays a key role as the wagerer bet on the particular horse to win over the game.

Horse racing is a major proficient sport in Ireland, Canada, Western Europe, South Africa, Australia, South America, Great Britain and New Zealand. The most admired form of horse racing is the mounted thoroughbred racing in which the horses run over the flat courses with a great distance, which range from three quarters of one mile to the next two miles. There are other different major horse races such as Steeplechase Racing, Quarter Horse Racing and Harness Racing. Horse racing became a skillful sport during the period of Queen Anne, while the match of horse racing gave rise to involvement of several horses on which the audience wagered. Racecourses become popular all over the country offering large compensation to wager on the most beneficial horses.
